SPIRITUAL
Like beauty, the definition of ‘spiritual’ is personal and unique to each individual. Representations of major religions such as the Crucifix for Christianity, the Star of David for Judaism and Buddha for Buddhism are easily recognized as spiritual. But sacred stones, handmade shrines, arrangements of candles or seed pods from a particular tree worn as a necklace are no less spiritually significant to their creators even without a link to a well-known religion.
