PLANTS & FLOWERS
Aristotle said, “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” This certainly applies when it comes to seeing the beauty of flowers and plants. You might first be drawn to a flower because of its color or scent, but soon you will be tempted into admiration at the shape of a petal, the way the pollen clings to its stamen, or the curl of the leaves that provide it sustenance. Each part is fascinating on its own individual merits and yet when you step away and shift perspective to the whole – the whole is a uniquely exquisite creation.
